King Mohammed VI Of Morocco Arrives Nigeria, Received By Osinbajo

The King Mohammed VI of Morocco last night arrived Abuja for an official visit to Nigeria. He was received by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. President Muhammadu Buhari will receive the King later Today at the State House  President Muhammadu Buhari will receive the King later Today at the State House.

Recall that he was the King was once in a scandal with former President Jonathan over a supposedly phone call which he refused to pick. The apparent false claim sparked a diplomatic spat between the two countries with Morocco recalling its ambassador. Reports had claimed that Jonathan was in a telephone conversation with the monarch for support of the Nigerian candidate for the presidency of the African Development Bank, AfDB. This was denied by the palace of the Moroccan king.
