Hon. Mohammed Garba-Gololo (Bauchi State); Hon. Terse Gbillah (Benue State), and Hon. Samuel Ikon (Akwa Ibom State), have been cleared, by the House of Representatives, of the accusation of sexual misconduct in the United States. In June, the trio had their visas cancelled by the U.S, after they were accused of sexual misconduct while they were attending a leadership programme in Cleveland, Ohio. .
The House had started a probe into the accusations after receiving a formal complaint from the US Ambassador to Nigeria. All three members, however, dismissed the allegations, saying they were baseless and untrue
